Games are played on the football fields. Look for the blue NFL Flag tents.
Spectator areas are designated. Bring a chair. Tents and coolers are allowed. No dogs or pets allowed per County guidelines.
We have a tailgate like atmosphere at games. Look left and right and make some new friends. We all have a shared passion for giving our kids a competitive environment to enjoy the game without the competitive craziness sometimes seen on youth sports sidelines.
Parents will have access to the schedule and communication tools within the league app. Your first point of contact is your coach.
Uniforms will be distributed the Friday before the first game. You will be notified when and where to pick up your uniforms.
Teams rosters are uploaded a few days after the Combine.
You will receive a roster invite email that will gain you access to your team in the league app.
Once all the rosters are posted, a league-wide notification will go out.

Note... don't get fancy with this. I have seen it all. The friend request chains... the carpool requirements... and many other strategies. Just request who you would like to play with and we will do our best.

The Combine is an opportunity for coaches and staff to evaluate player skill level to ensure competitive parity (roughly equivalent levels of talent). There are no "cuts". All players are rostered.
The Combine is not mandatory. But, we do highly recommend attendance plus the kids have fun.
Important Note: The league may be extended due to weather or other circumstances. If weather causes a delay... games are postponed, not canceled. Games will be rescheduled.
This season, we may use Wednesday or Friday nights as make-up nights if necessary.
Games are played on Sundays. Game times start at 9am. Games are scheduled on the hour. Typically games run youngest ages to oldest ages. Times may vary and are based on team count. We are typically done by mid afternoon.
Practices are scheduled by coaches. Typically practices are Wednesdays or Fridays at the Land O Lakes Rec Center. But, it is up to the coaches when they schedule practices. A survey will be sent out to all players before the season begins to check off availability. That info will be used to form teams with similar availability.
Coaches are volunteers. All Coaches will be USA Football certified.

We pride ourselves in our Officials. We have two adult referees per game. Most issues occur when referees lose control of games. We work hard to prevent that. Our Head Official is an experienced NFL Flag referee and high school football white hat.
Headgear is mandatory for boys 10u & up. Headgear is recommended for all players.
Headgear is soft shell.
There are a few types of headgear. There is full head gear and headband style headgear. Both fulfill the requirement.
Headgear is available for purchase at the Combine and at the concession stand during league. We sell the headband style for $25.
Mouth pieces / mouth guards are required for games. Referees will check prior to each game. Mouth pieces are sold at the concession stand.
Each player will receive a NFL Flag jersey and NFL Flag shorts.
You will have the opportunity to check sizes at the Combine. There will be a jersey sizing tent with all size jerseys and shorts.
Important... if you order the wrong size you will need to purchase a second jersey replacement. Jerseys are $30.
BE SURE TO CONFIRM YOUR JERSEY SIZE AT THE COMBINE!
A NFL Flag belt is provided for each player. Replacement belts are available for purchase at the concession stand should you forget your belt or lose your belt. Replacement belts are $5.

Pirate Bay Flag Tournament teams participate in NFL Flag tournaments and other independent events.
Pirate Bay Flag will run Travel teams to play in other regional NFL Flag Leagues.
